About

We find ourselves in a dysfunctional relationship. We don’t engage Story anymore. No, we leave it to the professionals: writers, TV executives, directors, movie producers, and so on. They make Story. We just consume it.

We don’t care for that. We want to rewild, and we want to start our own, home-grown, feral oral traditions. We want to get back with Story.  Story games, descendants of indie role-playing games, offer us the perfect tools to do just that.  We “storyjam,” exercising our storytelling muscles with one another the best way we know how: by doing.  Some of us couldn’t find enough interested persons in our own bioregions, so we’ve reached out across the internets to find some like-minded souls and start the next best thing: the first inter-bioregional, rewilding story band, “The Myth Weavers.”
